Real reasons behind the second wave of COVID 19.

Very sad to see what a bad state India is in during the second wave of COVID-19. It has exposed the countries infrastructure and readiness to handle health crisis like this. Few points that comes to mind that made the situation out of control which i want to share here.

Number one reason which is very obvious is the overpopulation which made it difficult to contain or limit coronavirus impact, as most of the states in the country have high population density . On top of that the careless attitude of the people towards wearing mask or maintaining social distancing. Well most people do not care about social distancing because for most indians not being able to earn and provide form family is more dreadful than an invisible virus. On the top of that even state governmnet like that of Uttrakhand encouraged people to come out of their home and join Khumbh mela.

Nevertheless situation of India as of 28 Apr 2021 is grave and needs immediate action from government side. We can take respite on the fact that both central and state governments have sprung into action after a lot of criticism from public and judiciary but they will be criticized forever for their delay in tackling the situation and undermining the COVID situation in India.
It seems as if in an attempt to hide the rela facts and figures from the public to fool them into thinking that "sab changa si", government got fooled themselves which explains why they were so lazy and unprepared  for what was to come.

Another reason that can be attributed for the current grave situation of India is that politicians who were supposed to be working day and night to fight COVID-19 alongside our frontline warriors were busy fighting political opponents in Bengal and earlier Bihar over issues of caste and religion.
Our own beloved PM was busy doing political rallies flouting all COVID protocols( 2 gaj ki doori mask hai jaroori), but Prime minister himself could not seem to stand up to his own words. Had all political parties agreed to a digital campaign in Bengal that would have sent a good message in the society and also to all young politicians and leaders who are observing our current leaders. Their careless attitude caused a surge in COVID cases in West Bengal.

All such deeds of politicians is a reminder why people should be more careful in who they elect to serve them and why people should start caring about actual social issues such as hospitals, infrastructure, education etc.

Well whatever goes up has to come down that's the law of nature, so very soon we shall see an end to this pandemic and normal life back on track as if nothing happened.

But its important that we learn from our mistakes and keep in mind the lesson that the COVID-19 has taught us.
